Some of our upcoming
projects that are nearing completion:
Landmark Site to
Reopen in Fall 2007
Phase I of the Angel Island Immigration Station Restoration Project will
be completed and the station will again be open to the public. New outdoor
interpretive areas, a new house museum, and a new tour program are the
highlights of this national historic landmark.
New Visitor Center
for Sacred Hawaiian Site
Pu’ukohola Heiau National Historic Site on the island of Hawaii
will soon be opening their new visitor center. New exhibits will interpret
the rise of power of King Kamehameha I, the first ruler of all the Hawaiian
Islands, and the large temple that he built at this site.
