Lassen Volcanic National Park
Trinity County, California
Client: National Park Service
This project involved the rehabilitation of a 3,000 s.f. historic stone
building and the planning and design of new interpretive exhibits about
the cultural and geologic history of Mount Lassen. Conservation grade
display cases were developed to house a valuable collection of Native
American baskets, several historic exhibits were repaired and refurbished,
and a series of new exhibits were developed. A remote location, limited
electrical service, no interior lighting, and an antiquated heating system
were some of the challenges faced in this project.
